PIWC OAC 2023 Maritess Wynkoop on list of Donors during her term

To PIWC Board of Trustees:
As PIWC 2023 Overall Chairperson, I had the honor of choosing the charities that will be the recipients of the funds raised in the different fundraising events held during my term. The Charities that received the donations are as follows:
Gawad – Kalinga – $2,000.00
Sampaguita Group Scholarship Fund – $1,000.00
Philippine Nurses Association of Illinois Scholarship Fund – $1,000.00
Cancer Warriors Foundation Inc. – $1,000.00
Chicago One World Centennial Lions Club – $1,400.00
Filipino-American Grandparents Association of Chicago – $750.00
Philippine American Seniors Association of Chicago – $750.00
Catanduanes Medical Mission – $500.00
Rizal Community Center – $650.00
Total $9,500.00
Note: We care Cabusao Pangkabuhayan fund refused our donation ($500.00) because we requested a letter to authorize their Chicago so the check can be encashed. The representative refused and declined our donation. The unallocated fund was awarded to PASAC and FAGPAC.
