Philippine Independence Week Committee 2018 donated $3,439, through the PIWC Board of Trustees, to Hospital On Wheels (HOW) in the Philippines. Representing HOW to receive the donation is Dr. Gerry Guzman.

Additionally, PIWC 2018 is donating the rest of its proceeds to the following charities:

Feed My Starving Children — $1,000.00

Don Bosco Tuloy Foundation — $3,000.00

Bangar Public (Elementary) School — $2,000.00

Teach for the Philippines, Inc (formerly Sa Aklat Sisikat Foundation) — $1,000.00

Bantay Bata — $2,000.00

Gota de Leche — $1,000.00

The total amount of donations is $13,439.00.
