Teresita D. Cruz

Teresita D. Cruz, age 93, of West Chicago, died January 20, 2024.

She was lovingly known to us as Nanay. Teresita was born October 28, 1930 in Bulacan, Philippines. She was the daughter of Veronica and Martin Dino and was the 3rd of 5 siblings; Leoncio, Engracia, Teresita, Primo, and Deogracias. She married the love of her life, Guillermo on December 16, 1956. They shared 6 children; Luzviminda, Fernando, Guillermo, Danilo, Maria Theresa, Eduardo, and Fernando II. She was a hardworking, devoted mother and wife, providing and caring for them all of her life.

Nanay arrived in the US in 1986, after being petitioned by Luz. She had 9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Teresita always worked diligently and never complained. She gave her whole heart to her family. We all love her so very much and are incredibly blessed to have had Nanay for as long as we did. She died January 20, 2024 in the peace of her home surrounded by family. She was such a big part of our lives and we will miss her immensely.”
