“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

“We either trust God or mistrust God. When we do not trust, we miss the trust and we rust.” Nancy H. Abiera

Many especially nowadays are living in fear, not trusting which makes us more fearful of uncertainties that drive us crazy to fear more of the present projected in our future. I say FEAR is Freeze Endlessly & Anxiety Realized). This are perverted imaginations of worry and fear: of place, people, things, etc. It is crazy making, unhealthy & ungodly. However, there is also godly FEAR meaning reverence of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom. I use the acronym: Faith Expressing Amazing Results. This kind of godly fear is actually FAITH . . . the living FAITH that WORKS in life… allowing God to work through us and use us in miraculous ways we cannot even explain. In other words, FAITH is Full Assurance I’m-possible Trusting Him (God).

Unfortunately, fear is mostly and commonly experienced by everyone consciously or subconsciously. Our natural inclination is to avoid any type of fearful situations because of feelings of not being safe & unpleasant. The question is. . . how do we overcome fear? Simply hitting it head on and face it with courageous faith. When we fear, it is like spiraling down into the deep pit which eventually turns into TORMENT (Tensed Overwhelmed Repeating Miseries Endlessly Never Trusting) which results in ongoing feelings of negativity and pessimism like anguish, anxiety, etc. and in reality all feelings of hell. When we stay in fear, we give up easily and hand over our God-given dominion and authority over to the enemy, the devil. Fear distracts us from the purpose that God has placed over our lives. Fear is like a thief to our present joy and present experience. Fear can be a stronghold keeping us away from life itself. The good news is found in 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” When we believe what God said written in the Bible, we begin to receive blessing while trust develop as we invite Jesus into our fearful situation. Moreover, we have the Holy Spirit available helping us overcome all fear through faith. Faith distinguishes the fiery torment; distinguishes the feelings of being trapped and replaces it with power, love, and a sound mind. Allow Christ’s love to cancel this spirit of fear so that we can walk in faith. Another question is: “Who is the author of FEAR?” It is our enemy, the devil. However, on the flip side as we face our fears with faith, we join powers with the author of FAITH-Jesus Christ. The Bible goes even further and calls Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. So knowing this, who do you want to be the author of your life, today? Who do you want to write the story of this chapter in your life, today? Today, we choose Jesus. Whom we can even exchange our fear with Jesus’ faith. Prayer:

Gracious Father, forgive me for having fear rather than trading my fear with Jesus’ faith thereby receiving freely the supernatural power that comes from You, Lord. I repent for every form of fear I have in my mind and heart. Cleanse me fully to make room for Your faith to be deposited in me. I declare that even when I do not understand, I put my trust in You. Holy Spirit, fill me with your power, love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness and self control so I can live in faith knowing fully that Jesus is with me always. I pray all these in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Always choose “On A Bright Side” moving further and farther “On A Brightest Side”. I love you readers with the love of the Lord yet the Lord loves you the most. You are blessed. Smile and be a blessing!
