Power of Forgiveness

Mila Capellan, my BBFF (Beautiful Best Friend Forever) from Manila shared this with me:

“A seed must crack its shell to grow… A tree changes leaves yearly… Seasons change… People change…But True RELATIONSHIPS last forever… The most important is —when slight misunderstanding arises, we must cut the PRIDE, not the RELATIONSHIPS… Just like our nails, when it is grown, we cut it and not our FINGERS… We heal our hearts when we forgive… No one is perfect… That’s why pencils have erasers…

Have a Wonderful Week !!!

Take care always…GOD BLESS!!!”

I felt so blessed receiving this short yet powerful and inspiring message on forgiveness. And I would like to share this to others not only because it is true; it is very helpful and very healing for the one who forgives and the one being forgiven.

Even Jesus Himself on His first of the seven last words on the cross forgave and even interceded for us to be forgiven. He said,

“Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”

Let me ask you some questions for reflection and answers for contemplation:

Do you want free ANTI- AGING secret? Forgive …

Do you want RELATIONSHIPS healed? Forgive …

Do you want your PHYSICAL HEALTH restored and be whole? Forgive …

I encourage you readers to release and forgive the following:

1. Yourself

2. Your parents (including step-parents, parents in law, adoptive parents) and any authority figures like teachers, coaches, bosses, ministers, etc.

3. Your brothers and sisters, and relatives.

4. Your neighbors, classmates, friends, church associates, office mates, etc.

5. Anyone that caused you pain.

Release them all and forgive them. It is like throwing TRASHES of BAR (bitterness, anger, resentment) that keep people in jail. Instead, it is better receiving the TREASURES of love, joy, peace, etc. that bring freedom.

Let us choose to be better than bitter; have love not war; and forgive the hurts then we forget the pain and trauma that’s set us free.

Always choose “On A Bright Side”.

I love you readers with the love of the Lord, yet the Lord loves you the most.

Smile and be a blessing…
