Houlihan’s Celebrates National Mushroom Month with Famous Stuffed ‘Shrooms Promo

Houlihan’s Chicago locations will celebrate National Mushroom Month all September long by offering a special promotion on their most addictive menu item – Stuffed ‘Shrooms! Starting September 10, every Monday guests will be able to add an order of Houlihan’s Famous Stuffed ‘Shrooms to any purchase for just $1.

The panko crusted Stuffed ‘Shrooms have a decadent garlic- herb cream cheese filling, that is meticulously filled by hand, and served with a creamy horseradish sauce, both of which are made inhouse.

Houlihan’s prides itself on a scratch-cooking method for every menu item, and their “Famous Shrooms” are no different. They have a stringent selection process in place to ensure that only the most pristine mushroom caps are served to their guests:

Houlihan’s uses only domestic White Mushroom caps – the pristine white color is the best indicator of optimum freshness, firmness and texture.

The mushrooms used at Houlihan’s are exclusively grown in a select region Pennsylvania, due to the soil being most conducive to quality produce.

The restaurant imposes strict sizing requirements for every mushroom selected, to ensure each ‘Shroom is stuffed to perfection with the right proportions of filling.
