Mr. United Nations International 2023

Nick Vera Perez is a Chicago-based, Filipino-American, professional recording artist and a registered nurse who recently finished his Masters of Science in Nursing and is soon to graduate with a Doctorate degree for Nursing Practice. Nick is also the first Chicagoan and Filipino-American to win Mr. USA United Nations International, which he just won in September 2023. He is involved in three charities that he supports through NVP1Smile Charities and is currently active in supporting to end hunger by joining in programs through his work of employment at RUSH Health System. His love for his mother has led him to help more and become a beacon of hope for the weak, less fortunate and helpless. He is an active social media person and has been followed largely due to his positive aura and messages he sends to the public – to never stop caring for our parents. He is in his last term before graduation to become a DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) and has been in nursing for 35 years mostly in Critical and Post Anesthesia Care services.
