These stats highlight the importance of picking toys wisely for children – especially for anyone planning to host a party that involve opening and playing with gifted toys. Due to the potential liability issues that could arise from any injuries in the host’s home, its important for holiday party hosts to review the terms and conditions of their home or renters insurance policy to determine how much liability coverage they have and what kind of injuries may or may not be covered. It’s important to discuss your policy and its exclusions with your agent or insurer and look into additional coverage, like umbrella coverage, to make sure you’re protected financially before you throw any parties.
